THE Gold Coast bodybuilder charged with the murder of Kiwi tourist he met on Tinder is alleged to have previously assaulted and abused police officers.
Court documents filed by prosecutors in the Supreme Court in Brisbane have revealed the criminal history of 28-year-old Gable Tostee, who is in custody after being charged with the August 8 murder of New Zealander Warriena Wright.
The documents were filed as part of the Crown's arguments that bail should not be granted to Tostee.

They detail how he has two outstanding charges against him, both relating to an incident on the Gold Coast on January 27 this year.
Police were called after a tuk-tuk driver claimed he'd run away without paying. They caught up with him, the documents say, at a store nearby where he was buying chocolate and using obscene language, the Daily Mail reported.

When he was confronted it is alleged he twice told the officer to "f*** off c***" and "What are you going to do small man". He was arrested and while he was being placed in the back seat of the police car kicked another officer and had to be sprayed with capsicum spray.
As a result he was charged with commit public nuisance and assault or obstructing a police officer.
Later in the year, on July 27, he was charged with high range drink driving after he was allegedly found to be nearly five times over the legal limit for driving.
The court papers said that arrest followed reports he'd been driving at high speeds on the highway across the New South Wales border, where police tried unsuccessfully to stop him by laying tyre spikes across the road.
Tostee was also charged with breaching bail conditions that had been imposed after the January incident.
After a month in custody, where he has at times been reportedly bashed by other inmates, Tostee broke his silence with a recent Facebook post thanking his friends and supporters.
"To my friends and those who have been supporting me, I want to thank you and say that I miss you all," he wrote.
A date for the remainder of the bail application to be heard hasn't been set.
