OSCAR Pistorius will tonight learn his fate, after being found not guilty of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in a packed Pretoria courtroom.
The high profile Paralympian can still be found guilty of culpable homicide (South Africa's version of manslaughter) after he shot Ms Steenkamp through the door of his bathroom on Valentine's Day 2013.
Judge Thokozile Masipa will continue her marathon judgement tonight. When she abruptly adjourned last night it semed she was about to convict Pistorius of culpable homicide after telling the court he had failed the test of the "reasonable man" and "negligence".

The case resumes when Judge Masipa returns to court. She is listing the different firearms charges Pistorius is facing. These are serious charges on their own, and if found guilty, he faces the prospect of several years jail.

Last night judge Thokozile Masipa stopped the case abruptly after finding that the athlete known as 'Blade Runner' acted too hastily, used excessive force, and was negligent when he picked up his gun and fired the four shots that killed Ms Steenkamp.
In her judgment, judge Masipa called Pistorius a "very poor witness" who had not been candid with the court.
She said she would resume with the rest of her verdict this evening (Australian time).
While Pistorius was found not guilty of murder, he could still be jailed for his actions.
There will be no minimum jail time for the verdict of culpable homicide.
