HE'S the world's most famous silver fox, but for a man who's lived so much of his life in the public eye, there's still some things that not many people know about George Clooney.
To celebrate the release the his latest film, The Monuments Men, being released on Blue-ray and DVD, we thought we share some surprising facts about the 53-year-old, soon to be married star.
Shots anyone?: If you ever get the chance to party with Clooney, make sure you have plenty of lemons and salt handy. As for the booze, leave that to George, who owns a brand of tequila called Casamigos Tequila.

Oink oink: They say a dog is a man's best friend, but Clooney disagrees. For 18 years he had a pet pig called Max which was a gift from his ex-girlfriend Kelly Preston. Max died in 2006.
Tough times: Over the years there have been a number of ludicrous rumours about Clooney's sexuality. But during his first year in Hollywood, the actor was actually closeted ... sort of. He lived in a friend's closet as he tried to break into the business.

Close but no cigar: Clooney went to two different universities but failed to graduate from either.
Medical condition: Clooney has a face that women swoon over and men would kill for, but did you know that he was actually diagnosed with partial face paralysis (Bell's Palsy) when he was younger?

Committed to being single: Clooney was adamant that when he turned 40 years old in 2001, he would still be unmarried and without kids. He was so confident that bet Nicole Kidman and Michelle Pfeiffer $10,000 each. He of course won the bet but refused to accept their money.
Au natural: When you see George Clooney in a movie, you're seeing the man himself without any makeup. The actor refuses to wear powder or even dye his hair for film roles. Rumour has it he even cuts his own hair. By George ...
