THE debut episode of The Biggest Loser: Challenge Australia will see contestants pushed to extremes with trainers forcing them to scale a mountain.

24 bootcampers will be put through their paces by climbing the highest peak in the Grampians, Mt. William. Once at the top, a gruelling training session awaits them.

But only 14 contestants will be handed a grey T-shirt and invited to continue through to phase two, with 10 being sent home to Ararat, the regional Victorian town where this season is based.

One of this year's contestants, Cameron Brown, is a larger than life family man who is a self-confessed workaholic and says he has never found the time to exercise or eat healthy.

Will the 34-year old local supermarket store manager make it through this first challenge, or will he be sent packing?

The Biggest Loser: Challenge Australia debuts on Network 10 on Sunday at 6:30pm.
