THE nominations for the 57th TV WeekLogie Awards have been announced and they read like a carbon copy of previous Logie ceremonies.

All the nominees for the top gong — the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Personality on Australian TV — have been nominated for the award numerous times before.

The Block's Scott Cam, Offspring's Asher Keddie and radio presented Hamish Blake have all previously won the award. Their fellow Gold Logie nominees Andy Lee, Carrie Bickmore and Stephen Peacocke are all third or fourth-time nominees.

Both Bickmore and Keddie gave birth last week. While The Project co-host has vowed she'll be on the red carpet this year, there's no official word on whether Keddie will make the ceremony.

While the Gold Logie nominations are a snoozefest this year, the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding Newcomer is always one to watch when looking out for new Aussie talent.

Love Child stars Miranda Tapsell and Harriet Dyer are nominated alongside Brandon McClelland (ANZAC Girls), Silvia Colloca (Made In Italy With Silvia Colloca) and Troy Kinne (Kinne).

Two-time Grammy nominee Meghan Trainor (of All About That Bass fame) and chart-topper Sam Smith will perform at the awards — Smith is squeezing in the TV slot between sold-out shows on his Australian tour.

The 2015 awards will be held at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne on Sunday, May 3rd.
