SONIA Kruger is having a baby.
The 48-year-old television star announced the news on her Twitter page this afternoon.
"It's been a long road, but Craig and I are delighted to finally confirm we are having a baby," she told news.com.au
Kruger has previously shared that she and partner Craig McPherson have been trying to have a child for a number of years, both naturally and through IVF.
"It's been a struggle," Kruger told The Australian Women's Weekly. "We did conceive naturally several times and I miscarried on a couple of occasions."

Kruger, who is 16 weeks pregnant, will discuss in full her wonderful news on MORNINGS on Monday at 9am on Channel Nine.
She will also return as the host of Big Brother 2014 on Septemper 8 on Channel Nine.
