MOVE over soccer mums. There is a new group of mothers who are not afraid to stick up for their kids: skater mums.

In just over a year, at least six videos have emerged on YouTube that appear to show angry mothers yelling at skateboarders. Most of the women seem to be defending their children and they do not seem to be afraid of the skaters. At all.

In one video that has been viewed over 2 million times, professional skater Leland Goldberg knocks over a young boy while in the middle of completing a trick. The boy seems to come out of nowhere.

The skater is apologetic but the boy's mother angrily confronts him saying: "you run into my son? On his birthday? You didn't even see him?" before pushing and punching him.

In another, a child is sitting on one of the ramps and the mother reacts when one of the skaters apparently asks the boy to "f***ing move".

She repeats over and over that she "pays taxes" and the police are eventually called to defuse the situation.

Meanwhile another woman just seems to be outraged that one skater was "cussing like a sailor and I asked him not to and he refused".

In her own words: "This is a city park and there's so reason to be talking like that."

She goes on to say she hopes the boy's mother grounds him "because you have been served, my man".

In this video an argument erupts between a skater and a mother because the woman's son is accused of being "disrespectful".

The discussion around this video seems to involve a kid's $300 bike.

While in this most recent video, it's unclear what has made this woman so angry.

Many videos are being collected in a sub-thread on Reddit and the incidents have inspired discussion about who is at fault because footage often does not show what happened before or after the incident.
