IT is day two of the trial of Brisbane real estate agent Gerard Baden-Clay, 43, who stands accused of murdering his wife Allison Baden-Clay, 43, on April 19, 2012.

The 15th witness in the trial is one of the Baden-Clay daughters, a 10-year-old, who will give evidence to the court through a pre-recorded video taken at the Indooroopilly police station on April 20, 2012.

"About mum," she said when asked if she knew why she was there.

"She went for a walk this morning and she hasn't returned."

The girl said she knew mum went for a walk in the morning about 5am but dad was still asleep.

She said at around 7am her mum was due to go into the city for a meeting except she was not home.

"That's about all I know about what happened," she said.

The girl said she was sitting at home getting ready for school and getting worried around 7am.

She said her Grand Poppa and aunty came to help look for her mother to see if she was still walking.

"Except there was no success and so then a police car came to talk to dad and when that happened Aunty Livy took us to school," she said.

"It was really just normal like every other night, she just put us to bed," she said.

The jury in the murder trial of Gerard Baden-Clay has been shown a graphic photo of his dead wife's body.

A second daughter, aged eight, also gave a recorded interview, which was heard by the jury today.

"I saw her last night," she said.

"In my room. She was saying goodnight to me," she said.

The girl burst into tears and rubbed her eyes with her hands at the table in the interview room.

Baden-Clay dabbed his eyes with a tissue in the prisoner's dock.

A photograph tendered to the trial shows the Kholo Creek bridge at Anstead where Allison Baden-Clay's body was found.

On Day 1, it emerged Gerard Baden-Clay allegedly used a secret email account to tell his mistress that he loved her and to "leave things to me now" in the days before his wife went missing, the court heard yesterday.

While outwardly the couple's 15-year marriage — which produced three beautiful daughters — appeared happy, Crown prosecutor Todd Fuller QC told the jury that not all was as it seemed.

He detailed claims that Baden-Clay was unhappy in the marriage and by December 2011 had rekindled a long-running affair with a woman called Toni McHugh.

The jury was told he previously ended the affair with Ms McHugh when Ms Baden-Clay found out about it in September 2011.

In emails he sent from a pseudonym account called "Bruce Overland", the accused allegedly pledged his love for Ms McHugh and spoke of their secretplan to build a new life together by July 1.

Toni McHugh exchanged emails with Gerard Baden-Clay.

Mr Fuller said the pair called one another GG for "Gorgeous Girl" and GM for "Gorgeous Man".

In one email shown to the jury, Ms McHugh suggested Baden-Clay move in with her once the marriage ended.
