Andy Murray beats Roger Federer in a five-set semi-final at the Australian Open.
Roger Federer admits that he had his chances but Andy Murray deserved to win their Australian Open semi-final.
YOU never stop being a cricketer, as spin legend Shane Warne discovered last night when he caught a stray Roger Federer hit at Rod Laver Arena.
Warne, who was sitting courtside for the epic men's semi-final showdown, pulled off a very classy catch when Federer miscued against Andy Murray, sending the ball into the crowd during the fourth set.
To take the catch, the 43-year-old leaned over the barriers and plucked it from the air.

Afterwards the cricket superstar joked about the slick grab with mate and former St Kilda player Aaron Hamill while the home crowd cheered him on.
Murray eventually beat Federer 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 6-2 in exactly four hours. The Scotsman will play Novak Djokovic tomorrow night in the Australian Open final.
